“Housing and Sustainable Business” Program

This program includes both, building homes and implementing a business that allows these families the opportunity to raise their income up to 400%.

Achieving dignified housing and a secure income are the most important step in the ladder of progress. After these steps, the most important elements: reducing illness rates, reducing school absenteeism, reducing child labor, among other factors that are part of our objectives.

Our unique characteristic is to support families through training and professional support throughout a full year, to provide a sense of containment and assuring a sense of accomplishment in their new endeavor and in their new lives.

Through the support given, families are able to participate directly in the process of improving their living conditions and become sensitized of the need to become an active community leader that promotes community development.

The “Housing and Sustainable Business” Program is being developed in Zinacantepec, State of Mexico.

Objectives:
• To integrate working children into schools.
• To lower pulmonary and gastrointestinal diseases.
• To reduce infant mortality.
• To improve family nutrition.
• To reduce interfamily violence
• To eradicate sexual abuse due to overpopulation conditions in a household
• To promote new income sources
